Guilin, located in the northeast of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is one of China's most picturesque cities for its natural beauty and historic treasures. It is surrouned by two crytal-clear rivers and is famous for its mountains and caves with unusual shapes and bizarre rock formations. Guilin is in subtropical and monsoon zone with warm and moist climate. It is a well-developped city and the communication, accomodation and transportation are very convienent. The total number tourists in 2005 is over 12 millions.
